Veteran's Fishing Day
Thanks to Rick and Penny Kunze for coordinating the Lodge’s annual Veterans Fishing Day. Lodge volunteers helped 14 residents of the Lassen Nursing Home and their family members and care takers enjoyed an afternoon of fishing and lunch.

Join us on Tuesdays for our weekly Lodge Charity Bingo. We’ve recently supported Haven Hospice in Palatka, The Way Clinic, the Green Cove Springs Food Pantry, and the Augusta Savage Arts & Community Center in support of their Augusta’s Legacy Family Celebration.
Reading in the Park
On June 13th, Green Cove Springs Police Department Sergeant Whitney and Officer Heard, along with our Elk volunteers, distributed books to 22 children at our summer story time in Spring Park. Our next event will be on July 11th.
Scholarship Recipients
Green Cove Springs Elks Lodge #1892 is proud to announce the recipients of our 2026 Elks Scholarships. This year, three outstanding students were each awarded a $1,000 scholarship to help further their educational goals: Khalon Franklin, Megan Moran, and Abigail Turner. We wish these students great success!
Kid's Art and Music Day
Thanks to all the volunteers who made our June 6th Children’s Activity Day, funded through ENF Beacon Grant, a big success! The children had a great time learning to play the Kalimba, painting, making bracelets and other crafts, and enjoying a pizza lunch.
Memorial Day at the Lodge
Green Cove Springs Elks Lodge #1892 enjoyed a wonderful Memorial Day gathering filled with good food, great company, and a beautiful fireworks show courtesy of the City of Green Cove Springs that members were able to sit outside and enjoy. We are grateful to everyone who joined us for an evening of fellowship, patriotism, and remembrance.
Flag Day at the Lodge
Over 55 Members and guests attended our Lodge’s annual Flag Day ceremony and luncheon on June 14th. Lodge Officers, Ernie Serna, and the Hughson Family conducted this moving and meaningful patriotic ritual honoring our country’s flag.
Celebrating Young Readers
On Thursday, May 21, Trustee Jennifer Parker, PER, and Loyal Knight Stuart Williams had the honor of attending pre-K graduation at the Episcopal Children’s Services GCS Head Start Center. It has been a great pleasure to work in partnership with them through our Elks Read literacy initiative.
