The first month of the 2025–2026 Elk Year is behind us, and we’re off to a strong start! Our Officer Installation and Spring Dinner Dance on March 29 was a wonderful kickoff, and we extend our thanks to everyone who helped make the evening so special, as well as to all who attended in support of our newly installed officers.

May is promising to be a busy month for our Lodge! Here are a few highlights:

May 1-7 is Elks National Youth Week! On the evening of May 2 at 6:30 PM, our Lodge will offer an observance featuring the presentation of a Proclamation from the City honoring our Junior Citizens. For the second year in a row, we will also be awarding a deserving Clay High School NJROTC cadet with the Elks National JROTC Award!

On Saturday, May 3 from 2 to 7 PM, we will be hosting a Blood Drive in cooperation with OneBlood. The Big Red Bus will be here at the Lodge with cookies, juice, gifts, and a wellness check for each donor. Every person has the power to save a life. Donating blood only takes a little of your time, and it can mean a lifetime for patients in need.

On Sunday, May 4 starting at Noon, we’re throwing a fantastic Cinco de Mayo Party! Members who attend will get to enjoy an incredible Mexican feast and the fun sounds of Darren Ronan and the Side Pieces!

May is the Month when all Elk Lodges across our nation celebrate Mother’s Day with a special Ritual established by our founders. Our officers will be performing the Mother’s Day Ritual on Sunday, May 11 starting at Noon. There will be a delicious, midday meal following the ceremony. Every Mom who attends gets to eat free and enjoy a complimentary mimosa!

On Monday, May 26 starting at 5 PM, join us for our Midway Games Day in support of our Lodge Scholarship fund! Enjoy some great fun, food, and fellowship in support of a good cause! Bring your lawn chairs and stay to view the City’s fireworks display from the best spot on the river!
