We have successfully made it through the first month of the new 2024-2025 Elk Year! May is promising to be
a busy month for our Lodge! Here are a few highlights: May 1-7 is Elks National Youth Week! On the evening of May 1 at 6:15 PM, our Lodge will offer an observance honoring one of our Junior Citizens with a special award for the first time in Lodge history!

We’re throwing a fantastic Cinco de Mayo Party on Sunday, May 5 starting at 12 PM! Members who attend
will get to enjoy an incredible Mexican feast and the fun sounds of Darren Ronan and the Side Pieces!

May is the Month when all Elk Lodges across our nation celebrate Mother’s Day with a special Ritual established by our founders. Our officers will be performing the Mother’s Day Ritual on Sunday, May 12 starting at
Noon. There will be a delicious meal following the ceremony. Mothers get to eat free that day!

Officers of the Lodge, PERs and other Members will be attending the Florida State Elks Association Convention in Orlando on May 22-26. We’ll be meeting Elks from across the state and getting some new ideas on how
to improve our Lodge.

On Monday, May 27 starting at 4 PM, our Summer Kickoff Party is being held in support of our Lodge Scholarship fund! Enjoy some great food and fellowship in support of a good cause! Bring your lawn chairs and stay
to view the City’s fireworks display from the best spot on the river!

Our House Committee is planning so many other great events this year! Please continue to consult our monthly
